Becky knows that the prognosis for GBM is bad. Worst case statistics say survival is 15-18 months.

 

There are some predictive markers which determine a patient’s likelihood to beat those odds: IDH and Methylation being a couple of them. Unfortunately, Becky does not have those working in her favor.

 

There is brand new research that shows a genetic link to brain cancer in families. Becky tested positive for that gene mutation, making her odds 25x higher than an average person to get this cancer.
